Mads Møller T. Andersen

Mads Møller T. Andersen is a research assistant/lecturer at Aarhus University in Denmark. He completed his PhD in 2019, which was a production study of the digitalization of the Danish public-service youth TV channel DR3. His research focuses on the media industries and in particular streaming services, TV production, idea development processes, branding and gatekeeping. He has published in several international journals such as Media, Culture & Society, VIEW – Journal of European Television History and Culture, and Nordicom. He is a member of the editorial team at MedieKultur – Journal of media and communication research and a member of the Centre for Media Industries and Production Studies at Aarhus University. He is also a part of the Horizon 2020 twinning project “ScreenMe-Net” funded by The European Union about screen media entrepreneurship across seven European countries.
